It started out as a normal day. Although it wasn't. I got up as I would on any normal day. I showered, wrote and ate. Two big things were on today; one was a joint planetary adventure the likes of which may never be seen again, the other was the harry potter finale.
It was a neon sunrise as I walked to my doctors. I walked because the car was still under the knife, but need to do it more. Whiplash is going well. On my way home I dropped into Vintage where I found two cousins and my video shop lady. I think I offended her by reporting a download of something. She left just after I told them all about it.
At home, I avoided "work work", and focused on my book again. I am very torn with a chapter. I think I will have to rebuild it. There is a major 'a-ha' moment I have failed to exploit. I blame cloudy days; I must need sunshine to see all ends of fictitious endearment.
Another taxi ride is marked down for the year; I sat in the back seat as a trainee and teacher discussed the finer points of Gold Coast brothels, and related collection etiquette. But fortunately this meant I also got my car back. However it smells like they painted the whole thing using nail polish, and I get high off carbon monoxide if I keep the windows down. But it looks clean.
After noon writing till late, I laid on my bed and was once again swept away by everything that enraptures the heart. If there is some ethereal script of my mind on a heavenly shelf somewhere, it can be found here.
I left for Brisbane and the final Harry Potter. The drive was painful; mental note to annoy the government more. I arrived with two minutes to spare and was accosted by a pre-movie "Making of the movie" in the trailers!!! Outrageous! What wanker in his right mind would show his audience the blue screen effect making, before a movie!?! Sufficed to say I sat with my eyes shut and my fingers in my ears. Best friend is "fine". Which means he nearly ready to discus what is bothering him. The movie itself lived up to expectation, but in reality never could overcome the fact that it was the end of an era, and so disappointment was inevitable; regardless of the movies' quality.
